The Honda City is potrayed as the ideal urban family-sedan.
The 1.5 litre water-cooled, in-line, 16-valve, 4-cylinder engine gives a maximum power of 100 bhp @ 6500 rpm. A "Programmed Fuel Injection System" (PGM-FI) and computer designed tumble-flow intake ports ensure optimum fuel efficiency.
The drivetrain and the chassis of the City have been tailored to meet the specific demands of urban and highway motoring. The brakes are hydraulic servo-assisted - ventilated discs in the front, and leading / trailing shoe drums at the rear.
