Kinetic
Pride FX
The Kinetic Pride FX has a variomatic transmission
that avoids problem of changing gears while negotiating traffic. The choke is conveniently
placed, so that it is visible and within easy reach of the rider. Aerodynamic curves make
it more streamlined. This has not really resulted in any appreciable improvement in terms
of fuel consumption. Like the K4-100, it has enough space beneath the seat to accommodate
a helmet or sundry shopping. It offers good value for money. The plus points are a
relatively affordable price, but the bike lacks an effective overall appeal. There are
also repeated problems with brake jamming and inconsistent fuel averages. It may soon
sport a four-stroke engine to upgrade its economy and pollution rating. |
