Suzuki
Shaolin
The Suzuki Shaolin is the first bike in India to have a five-speed
gearbox. Besides this, it also has a 140c engine, making it a sprightly performer and
energetic cruiser. TVS introduced this bike to compete with the new Yamaha RX 135 and the
Kawasaki RTZ 125. Snappy stickers add glamour to the bike. A tachometer is given as a
bonus. Though the Shaolin is not as fast as the Shogun in outright terms, it has a cheaper
price tag. Plus points are better usage of the engines midrange because of the extra
gear, while a sore point is the poor fuel average the bike turn out. |
