            Not only are Bandhavgarh and Kanha jungles, the stunning temples of Khajuraho were also discovered in the forests in 1838 AD. The palace of Kawardha too is silently located in wilderness. Kipling's Jungle Book illustrates this aspect of Jungles of India.   • Day01: New Delhi: Welcome in India. Evening sound and light show at Red Fort.

  • Day02: New Delhi: Daylong sightseeing of Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad) and Lutyen's Delhi (New Delhi). Evening free to shop around the busy Connaught Place.

  • Day03: Agra: Board Shatabdi Express to Agra and visit Taj Mahal and Agra Fort immediately after arrival. Later, visit the well-preserved capital of Akbar - Fatehpur Sikri.

  • Day04: Khajuraho: Reach Khajuraho by flight. Guided tour of a few temples.

  • Day06: Bandhavgarh: Five hours drive to Bandhavgarh National Park - an ideal place to view a wide variety of wildlife. Jungle safari by Jeeps.

  • Day07: Bandhavgarh: Jungle safari on elephant back to spot tiger, gaur and other wild animals.

  • jungle4.jpg (11633 bytes)Day08: Kanha: Drive to one of India's best place to see the Tiger - Kanha National Park. It is a park of 1945 sq. km and is the park which Kipling wrote about in Jungle Book.

  • Day09: Kanha: Morning and noon jungle trip in Jeep to view the abundant wildlife.

  • Day10: Kawardha: Drive to Kawardha palace. A beautiful palace in very quiet and scenic atmosphere just off the tourist routes. The royal family staying in palace personally treats every guest at the palace. Spend two days in warm hospitality, jungle5.jpg (11738 bytes) trek in the forests, visiting temples, meeting tribal people and appreciating the beauty and character of the palace.  An unforgettable experience!

  • Day11: Kawardha: Walking tours around the palace to explore the untouched natural beauty.

  • Day12: New Delhi: Transfer to Raipur airport for flight to New Delhi. Day at discretion in New Delhi till the time of departure. At appropriate time during the day or next morning, transfer to airport for departure.
