Ingredients 2 X 15
ml (2 tbsp) limejuice.
3 X 15 ml rosewater
15 ml glycerin
Mix the
ingredients to a smooth consistency and apply to areas of dry skin, This will keep for 2
3 days in the fridge.
Lemon Anti Sun Burn Lotion For face and body
Ingredients
1 lemon
1 egg white
Squeeze lemon and add juice
to the egg white. Whisk well. Put into a smallpan. Stir mixture over a low heat until it
thickens, Allow it to cool. Apply it to sunburned areas to help soothe and take the heat
out of the skin it should not be necessary to rinse the lotion off.
Coconut Milk Soother - For toughened Skin
Ingredients
115 ml (1/2 cupful) coconut
milk
15 ml (1 tbsp) fine oatmeal
Heat the milk until
lukewarm. Add to the oatmeal and mix well. Apply to rough (perhaps your face, elbows,
knees and heels). Leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off.
Pineapple Mask
Pineapple contains enzymes
that have a rejuvenating effect on dull, sluggish skin, all over the body
1 slice pineapple
Mash, then sieve pineapple.
Apply to dingy patches. Leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off, at the same time gently
massaging over the skin, thereby helping to remove the dead skin cells which will have
been dislodged by the pineapple mask.
