"SDIPA is not a place where you can come only if you're a good dancer. I don't care whether you are a good dancer or not. Whether you are fat, thin, young, old - if you want to come, enjoy fitness and dance and work, this is the place for you".

Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts (SDIPA) was formalized in 1992.

At SDIPA we conduct classes in Jazz, Hip Hop, Rock 'n Roll and Afro Jazz.

They have over 50 classes with 25-30 students in each at seven centres all across Mumbai. Students are old as four years and as young as 64. They come in all shapes and size. Fat, thin, good dancers, bad dancers, special people, physically and mentally challenged - we don't reject anyone because they cannot dance. Everyone is welcome to this disciplined, professional and yet fun 'institute'.

Some people come to lose weight and enjoy dancing themselves thin. Everybody yearns to be fit and trim, to dance and express themselves.
