There are three biorhythm cycles which govern how we deal with daily situations in our lives. The emotional cycle, the physical cycle and the mental cycle. When the emotional cycle is high (above the midline) we feel happier, more emotionally responsive and more lively and expressive in social activities with others. When the physical cycle is high we are physically stronger, more resistant to injury or illness and seem to have more energy to burn. A mental cycle high brings us sharper mental clarity, increased ability to concentrate on mental tasks and greater insight into demanding mental activities. An emotional low cycle (below the midline) shows were more prone to sadness, emotional withdrawal and more likely to become irritated about a given situation than usual. A low physical cycle brings fatigue quicker during physical activity, makes us more susceptible to injury or illness and detracts from normal physical buoyancy. When the mental cycle is low errors or mistakes are made more frequently during mental tasks, planning seems to lack proper foresight and our learning process becomes more difficult. Critical days occur when the curve sits on the midline. These are the most difficult days and we become highly prone to experience negative situations according to the cycle involved. It is best to avoid important mental, physical or emotional activity if possible when any of these cycles touch the midline.
