Sweets - Kadai Panner  

INGREDIENTS:

 
 
Cottage cheese (panner)  600 gms
Black pepper 8 gms
Green pepper 40 gms
Coriander powder 10 gms
Coriander seeds 10 gms
Methi - Fenugreek powder 5 gms
Garam masala 8 gms
Ginger juliennes 15 gms
Onions chopped 50 gms
Red Chillies 15 nos.
Vegetable oil 40 gms
Tomato puree 150 ml
salt to taste

    

        METHOD:

   
  1. Cut the Paneer into fingers. 
  2. Cut the capsicum into halves, deseed and make juliennes or cut into small, even squares.  
  3. Pound the red chillies and coriander seeds with a pestle to a powder. 
  4. Heat the oil in a kadhai and saute the onions and capsicum over medium heat for 2 minutes. 
  5. Add the pounded spices and two-thirds of the chopped ginger and stir for 1 minute. 
  6. Add the tomato puree and salt, bring to boil and simmer until the oil separates from the gravy. 
  7. Add the paneer and stir gently for 2-3 minutes. 
  8. Sprinkle with fenugreek powder, garam masala powder, ground coriander and black pepper. 
  9. Stir.
