Ritu Beri's `97 collection:
"My favourite collection was part of the BRIDAL SHOW - 1997.I clearly remember that it was done on a real grand scale, a very elaborate manner, naturally as it was based on Indian Weddings. I showed all the ensembles, which could be worn for weddings by both the bride and her entire family.Even the venue which was a farmhouse, was decorated like a wedding set-up.

Magenta Benarasi silk laacha, embroidered with gold threads and sequins. With a panelled lehanga and heavily embroiderd dupatta on woven Banarasi silk.

 

Black silk kurta with heavily embroidered gold motifs. With a gold crinkled tissue lehanga with crinkled dupatta.

Red chamois satin kurta with heavily embroidered jacket and dupatta. With a plain sarong.
