I know. It's a drag. He's so cute and he
seems to be interested but he's not asking you to next week's rain dance party. Should you
wait or should you wait? Most girls like to be asked. But if you are brave enough to risk
rejection, or he's too unbearably cute and/or unbearably shy, go ahead and ask. What's the
worst that can happen? Other that a "no" or a "yes" and a huge pimple
on your nose the next day.
5 ways to show the guy you are interested (without wearing a neon
green sign on your head):
- If he's trying to catch your eye, let him - and then let a nice, warm smile complete the
message.
- Find an opportunity to be near him - the empty seat next to him, the water cooler. And
if opportunity knocks, throw the door wide open.
- Take the initiative - to smile, say hello, acknowledge his presence. That's less scary
and easier than actually asking him out, isn't it?
- Find common friends/ acquaintances who know him and try to get introduced to him.
- Arrange a group thing - party, picnic, movie - where you can invite him without it all
seeming too obvious!
